A Borscht Belt Landmark
Liberty is woven into Catskills history. In the hamlet of Ferndale, the Grossinger family started renting rooms to city visitors in the 1910s, and Grossinger's grew into one of the largest Borscht Belt resorts, at its peak spread across about 1,200 acres. The resort closed in 1986.
Today Liberty is a year-round community, and its spot on Route 17 makes it an easy trip for us from Pine Bush.

Moving in and Around Liberty
Liberty moves range from homes in the village to properties in the surrounding hills. We plan around access, protect your floors and furniture, and keep the day moving.
We also help a lot of families with senior moves: downsizing a longtime home, sorting what goes where, and setting up the new place so it feels comfortable right away.
